What the Service does

ValuationScope provides tools and reports that summarize property assessment and tax-related information based on public sources and user-provided inputs (such as parcel numbers, addresses, and uploaded parcel PDFs).

Not legal or tax advice

ValuationScope provides informational guidance only and is not a law firm, accounting service, or government agency. Reports are not legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for decisions you make and for verifying information with official sources.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information to the best of your ability
• Upload only files you have the right to use
• Use the Service lawfully and not to abuse or disrupt it

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Attempt to break, reverse engineer, or overload the Service
• Upload malware or harmful files
• Use automated scraping or bots without written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or submit someone else’s personal information without authorization

Reports and accuracy

We aim for accuracy, but property records and PDFs vary by county and may contain errors, missing fields, or formatting that affects extraction. We do not guarantee:

• completeness of data
• accuracy of extracted fields
• outcomes of appeals or tax decisions

Payments (if enabled)

If paid features are enabled:

• Prices will be shown before purchase
• Purchases may be final due to the nature of delivered digital reports, unless required by law
• Chargebacks or fraud may result in loss of access

Intellectual property

We own the Service, including software, design, and report templates. You may use reports for personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell or redistribute reports at scale without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ValuationScope is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service related to that claim (or $0 if you paid nothing).

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or are misusing the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
